About us

Our story begins with a deep family tradition of healing that spans generations and continents. The practice was founded by Sharon (Anderson/Farris) Scott, whose journey into natural and structural healing began in Australia, where she developed a love for herbal remedies and holistic care at a young age through a retired UK physician that had moved to Australia to aid the bush people with their health. After moving to the United States with her husband and children when Lolli, the youngest of five siblings, was nearly five, Sharon, through many years and continued learning, further grew her practice—first in Arizona, later in southern central Idaho, California, Washington, Oregon and eventually in Utah.
In 2008, Sharon and her daughter Lolli Anderson Payne established the current Rocky Mountain Family Therapist clinic in Nibley, Utah. Together, they created a thriving family-centered practice rooted in natural healing, hands-on care, and the wisdom of herbal medicine. After Sharon’s retirement, Lolli continued to carry forward the lineage and heart of the clinic, expanding its reach and modalities.
Today, RMFT remains a busy, thriving practice led by Lolli Anderson Payne and joined by her daughter, LaRae Dildine Berry, who became part of the team a few years after the clinic opened. Both are licensed massage therapists with a shared passion for supporting the body’s natural balance and flow.
At RMFT, we integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities within our professional scope of massage therapy, including reflexology, kinesiology, applied kinesiology, muscle traction, and manipulation techniques. These help to align the skeletal system through guided muscular release and traction, improving the overall flow and function of the body’s systems.
In harmony with our hands-on work, we also incorporate our own line of herbal tinctures and remedies, crafted from generations of family knowledge and years of professional herbal study. The herbal studies never end, therefore continuing every day. These herbal supports complement our bodywork sessions and reflect our belief in caring for the body as a whole—muscles, bones, energy, and spirit.
At its core, RMFT is more than a wellness clinic—it’s a living legacy of women healers devoted to nurturing the body’s natural rhythm and restoring harmony, one session at a time.
